Who we are
Oasis originated in 2005 with the intention to have a vibrant and faithful young adult community that would gather to rest, refresh, and renew with Jesus before a week of school, work, and life. What started off with just a small group of young people, God has grown into a ministry with hundreds of students and young adults worshiping, growing in faith, and reaching the campus of SDSU and the community of Brookings.
Oasis recognizes that all people desire acceptance, identity and purpose in their lives. Because of that, we want to have an intentional voice of spiritual formation in college students and young adults. While this demographic is often overlooked in our modern churches, we refuse to be the norm. Young adults have influence and importance right now. They have a vital role to play in the Church both now and in the future.
Oasis is a ministry of GracePoint Church. In that, we partner in the mission to Encounter Grace, Grow in Grace, and Give Grace by providing young adults with opportunities to encounter, grow and give.

Encounter God’s Grace through music, teaching, community and prayer. This happens in our services, events, small groups and more |

Grow in God’s Grace together to become people learning to live with Jesus so that we can live like Jesus. |

Give God’s Grace through the power of the Holy Spirit, bringing the gospel of Jesus to those we encounter every day. |
