Pastoral Residency

GracePoint’s mission is to be a place where people encounter the grace of God, grow in grace, and become grace givers. As part of that mission, we are committed to raising up leaders who are growing in their relationship with Christ, developing as leaders, and being sent out for the sake of the Kingdom. 

To accomplish this, our Residency Program provides meaningful ministry experience, intentional leadership development, and opportunities for residents to explore how God may be calling them to serve in ministry.

Residency Overview

The Residency Program is designed to be a two-year experience in which residents work approximately 30 hours per week. Residency placements are shaped by the resident’s gifting and passions as well as the current needs and opportunities within the church.

Residency Qualifications

An ideal resident will:
  • Have a growing relationship with Jesus
  • Be able to express a clear calling to full-time ministry
  • Be a college graduate or close to completing undergraduate education
  • Possess clear and compelling leadership potential
  • Have some previous ministry experience (i.e. serving, ministry team, etc.)
  • Demonstrate teachability and commitment to working in a team setting
