Wednesdays & Sundays
during the school year
At GSM, we understand that middle school is one of the most unpredictable times in our students’ lives. They change schools, make new friends, and are constantly forced to adapt to the world around them. We hope to meet them where they are and bring some sort of stability to their lives through an "Orange" ministry model.
The central goal of Orange is to combine the red and yellow aspects of a student’s life. Red, the love of their home, and yellow, the light of the church, must come together for a student’s spiritual development. It is only through a combination of these that a student can “be Orange”.
At GSM, we know that we cannot do this alone. With so many variables in our students’ lives, we believe that a personal relationship with Jesus can provide them with a stable foundation. We hope to achieve this primarily through three functions: Wednesday night GSM services, Sunday morning Growth Groups, and various events throughout the year. In these functions, homes will be kept up-to-date with emails outlining Wednesday night messages, Growth Group materials, and event details.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT GSM SERVICE
Our larger-scale group meetings occur on Wednesday nights, 6:30-7:45PM. The night begins when doors open at 5:00 and all students (6th-12th grade) are welcome to hang out and play games before service begins.
When the service begins, we will have corporate worship, group games, and announcements. Following this, Mid-High and Senior High students will be separated for two different teachings. At the conclusion of these teaching times, students will break out into their Connect Groups which are divided by gender and grade.
SUNDAY MORNING GROWTH GROUPS
Our smaller-scale group meetings occur on Sunday mornings during the
8:45 and 10:00 AM GracePoint worship services. In Growth Groups, students are able to connect more closely with their peers and dive deeper into the Word of God.
